The object was discovered in IC 334 at Dec. 6.22 by T. Puckett and A. Langoussis (CBET1608). Thereafer, we performed a spectroscopic observation of this object. The spectrum exhibits strong SiII6355 and SiII5972 absorption features, which blue-shifted by 12000km/s, respectively. The W-shape proflie feature is also seen at 520-550nm. The spectrum is similar to Type Ia SN 2007af at maximum, suggested that SN 2008hy is typical Type Ia Supernova at around maximum. We reported these results in CBET1610. The observation will continue.
